Paint!

This weekend has been a long one! Theron and I are painting the house ourselves and we started caulking & spackling trim and doors last Friday. It took until late Saturday night to get everything ready to paint. I was getting ready to throw in the towel, but the last two days (Monday & Tuesday) have been much better. Actually getting the paint on the walls is the easy part. I am painting the kitchen this rock cress color and the rest of the house is macadamia. However, it goes on a lot darker than the sample! I'm thinking we'll paint everything except the two small bedrooms and then have it lightened. I haven't seen it on the walls in daylight though, so we'll see.
