Merry Christmas!

I was chastized for not updating my blog, so here goes. On Christmas Eve we had homeade eggrolls with the fam as well as the Parsons, Gma & Gpa Barnes, and Theron's mom & Stephen. It was so yummy! We were so glad we were able to combine all of the families for one of my favorite traditions.
Christmas morning we got up early and headed to my mom's house to make breakfast. Another favorite tradition is making a huge breakfast before my mom and dad get up. This year we had sausage, eggs, cinnamon rolls, bacon, and hashbrowns. Besides Mom, Dad, Lindsay, Tyler, & Rachel; Sarah, Price, Aiden, and Laila were there, plus Troy and Alison: bringing the total to 11 people and 3 babies.
Logan has started spinning in circles, so he and Aiden danced and danced before we opened presents. They had so much fun playing together.

Finally, he couldn't wait any longer-he had to know what was in those boxes! He had fun opening his presents, but he was much more pleased that he was being allowed to rip the paper than he was in getting the toys.
Later in the day we went over to Lark's house and talked to Elder Brantley. Apparently he is the same ol' Brantley and is doing well. He likes the area much better as a missionary than a salesman. (He went to Virginia right after spending the summer selling there). We also opened presents and had lunch there. It was a nice relaxing afternoon after the crazyness of the morning.

Here is Logan with his haul:
On Saturday we went down to Utah for the Schow family party. You can read more about that here if you are really interested. The best part was my Uncle Dennis as Santa Claus.
All in all we had a great Christmas. We tried to keep it small for ourselves since we have been busy furnishing the house. It really relieved a lot of holiday stress I think we had a very enjoyable holiday.
Happy New Year!
