On a whim, we decided to leave Sacramento on Aug 28 at 3 in the afternoon. It was a long drive throught the night, but Logan was able to sleep through most of it and we were able to stay awake through all of it. The next day we got enought stuff into our new house to sleep there and on Saturday (Logan's birthday) we attended the annual Barnes Family reunion. We spent the afternoon at Rigby lake and floating the drybed. For dinner we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows in Grandma & Grandpa's back yard. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun! Logan's favorite part was climbing up and sliding down Grandma Jean's slide. If anyone has a picture of that, feel free to send it my way.

Late that same night, we picked up the rest of our furniture at Grandma Lark's house and proceeded to make our house a home. We bought a washer & dryer, hung blinds in all the windows, finished installing our central vac (thanks Dad), shopped for a dining room set, and unpacked boxes and boxes of stuff.
On Saturday we had a birthday party/housewarming.
Everybody was singing to him and he wasn't quite sure what to make of it.
You can't really tell, but Logan had cupcake everywhere-in his hair, behind his ears, & down his legs. We wiped off the biggest crumbs, but then he had to have a bath.
Thanks everyone who helped and came to our party. We are so happy to be home!
