Lydia turned 2 in November. She got her own sugar cookie for a cake on her birthday and shared a chocolate cheesecake with Grandma Jan on Sunday. She didn't really understand the blowing out the candles part and was a bit distraught when we did it for her. At least this year she didn't put them out with her fingers!

Lydia is so much fun to have around. She loves to wrestle with Logan & Daddy and is always interested in whatever Logan is doing. They play together like the best of friends. She loves to color, play with baby dolls, dance. She is almost always grasping something in her hand and usually attaches to one small thing for quite a while. She likes to get her purse when I have mine and wear her pink jacket. Lydia has become particular about the clothes she wears and doesn't like blue or green unless I can convince her that it has something pretty on it like a butterfly or a flower. A daily requirement is a bow (or two) in her hair. She is also picky about what she eats, but loves bread, cereal, rice, spaghetti, tacos, hamburgers, shepherds pie & lasagna. Lydia is very stubborn and cannot be persuaded into doing something she doesn't want to do. She is mostly shy, but has started opening up more and actually being friendly to family members.
We love Lydia so much!
